Batik 2021 General
On
15-18 July 2021, the Psychiatric Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana
University/Sanglah Central General Hospital, held the Latest Bali Psychiatry-2
National Webinar (BATIK-2) with the theme "Take the Stigma Away from
Mental Health, A Vision Hope". BATIK is an annual scientific event which
is held regularly every year. At this event, the Chairman of the BATIK-2
Committee, dr. Luh Nyoman Alit Aryani, Sp.KJ(K) said that BATIK-2 raised the
topic of stigma and discrimination, which still complicate cases of mental
disorders.
The
event was also opened by a Speech from the Chancellor of Udayana University,
Prof. Dr. dr. AA Raka Sudewi, Sp.S.(K), Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,
Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB, SpOT(K), President
Director of Sanglah Hospital, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes. On this occasion, the
Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of
Indonesia also attended, I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, S.E., M.Si, who
delivered the keynote lecture "The Role of Mothers in Improving Mental Health
Through Good Child Parenting. The Head of the Service also attended the event.
The health of the Province of Bali, Dr Ketut Suarjaya, MPPM, brought the
material "Program for Handling Mental Disorders in the Province of
Bali".
