BATIK-3 and ICOSPI 2022 General

`

On September 22-25, 2020, the Psychiatric Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held the Bali Recent Psychiatry-3 National Seminar (BATIK-3) with the theme "Investing in Mental Health: Moving Forward to Break The Pandemic World". BATIK is an annual scientific event which is held regularly every year. However, the difference is that this year the BATIK-3 event was held in a hybrid manner. There is something interesting about BATIK-3, which is that it was held together with the activities of the 1st International Conference on Cultural and Spiritual Psychiatry (ICOSPI). The event was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P. For 4 days, this event was attended by 237 ICOSPI participants and 444 BATIK-3 participants.

On the first day, 7 interesting workshops were held, followed by ICOSPI activities on the second day. ICOSPI was attended by speakers from Canada, Australia, USA, Italy, the Netherlands and Scotland. On the third and fourth day, BATIK seminars and poster and oral presentations were held. A total of 37 participants took part in poster presentations and 15 participants in oral presentations. The entire series of activities is expected to become a key and a source of knowledge in the field of psychiatry. In addition, it can be a means to develop and invest in mental health globally.
